Let us introduce ourselves
For those of you who haven't heard about us, Goulbourn Museum shares the story of the 100th Regiment of Foot who settled in Richmond after the War of 1812. We also have exhibits, programs and artefacts related to early pioneer life in Goulbourn Township. We're located in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, just south of Stittsville.
The Museum is currently on Twitter & Facebook, but this is our first foray into the blogosphere. We'll use this site to blog about events and programs, the type of work we do here at the Museum & to showcase new artefacts & old treasures from our collection. Most of our posts will come from our Education Officer Kathryn Ward & our Curator of Collections Sarah Forsyth, but we hope to have a few guest posts, too. If there is anything you'd like to see, feel free to send us an email or leave a comment.
Enchanté!

Great start Kathryn, I look forward to blog posts to come. Nice background too. A great place to share what's going on at the museum.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila! I still don't know what a widget is (or how to comment correctly) but I think it's coming together!
